Students mourn Sata

Students from various higher learning institutions in Lusaka have expressed sadness on the death of President Michael Sata.

The students from the University of Zambia, Evelyn Hone college, Natural Resources Development College and National Institute for Public Administration say they will continue to remember President Sata for his humility and the attention he gave to the education sector.

Bwalya Kabwe of the University of Zambia (UNZA) says President Sata was a visionary leader who never gave up until he succeeded, and that this is one thing that young people have learnt from him.

Kabwe says the death of the President is a big loss not only to the Patriotic Front but to Zambia as a whole, adding he will be greatly missed.

And Frank Chileshe representing the NRDC says President Sata was a friendly man who always found a way of making people laugh regardless of the situation which always made people to enjoy his presence.

And James Phiri from Evelyn Hone college has encouraged fellow youth to mourn the President in a peaceful manner and not to engage themselves in violence during this trying period.
