Lubinda says he will remember Sata as good friend

Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda says he will remember late President Michael Sata as his good friend who always encouraged him to look forward in life even after he was dismissed as a cabinet Minister.

Mr Lubinda who served as the first Foreign Minister in the PF government says he received the news of President Sata‘s demise with great shock and devastation.

Mr. Lubinda has told Qfm news that he is only beginning to come to terms with the reality of President Sata’s deaths.

He says the late President was a great leader who always thought of how the country can be transformed and paid attention to the needs of the poor.

The Kabwata parliamentarian says people in his constituency are mourning President Sata because he served them with dignity during the time he served area MP.

Mr Lubinda adds that President Sata’s great leadership qualities will be greatly missed.

Mr. Lubinda has since conveyed his message of condolences to Dr. Christine Kaseba and the family on the death of the President.

He has further encouraged Zambians to continue mourning in peace and unity, stating that God has a purpose for taking president Sata away.
