Death of Sata a blow to Zambia – EFZ

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia says the death of President Michael Sata is a sad development and a big blow to the nation.

EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza however, encouraged Zambians to be strong and stand firm in prayer even as they mourn the President.

Reverend Mwanza stresses that Zambians and the government should ensure that they give President Sata a funeral befitting the head of State.

He adds that it is sad that the President has died at a time the country is also mourning the 25 people that perished in the Lake Kariba tragedy.

Reverend Mwanza says God has his own ways of doing things and has a reason for allowing the President to pass on at a time when the people of Zambia need him.

He says God has a plan for Zambia and he will see the country through the mourning period and even after.

Reverend Mwanza has further urged the First Lady, the family, the government and the people of Zambia to remain calm and keep trusting in the Lord.
