Chanda advises PF Members to defend Sata, party

Patriotic Front (PF) members across the country have been called upon to stand up and defend the party from some individuals who are fueling confusion in the ruling party.

Addressing journalists in Lusaka today, PF Member Sunday Chanda says all party members must be ready to bite the bullet on behalf of President Sata and the party.

Mr. Chanda says there is a clarion call for PF members to ensure that they discern the fight and those behind it.

Mr. Chanda states that this is a season to identify traitors of President Sata, traitors of the PF as a party and pluck them out.

He says there are those within the PF who are in bed with the enemy of the party and those cannot be expected to contribute to the well-being of the party.

He adds that there is a political scheme being championed by a well-known media house and aimed at indirectly fighting President Sata by maliciously discrediting his Ministers.

Mr. Chanda, who is also former Open Society Foundation (OSF) Executive Director, says the fight has seen them fight noble steps taken by Government such as the release of the final draft constitution and this is another crime Mr. Lungu has committed.
