HH most established politician – ZDDM

The opposition Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) has charged that the people plotting to remove UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema from party leadership are aiming to kill the UPND.

ZDDM President Edwin Sakala has told QFM News in a statement that this is so because they know that there are very few Zambians who can sacrifice their lives and hard earned resources towards running a political party.

Mr. Sakala states that the people who have been in Zambian politics for a long time are aware that ruling parties use various methods to undermine opposition parties and leadership.

Mr. Sakala says one of the most common methods is buying off officials to stage defections and to sponsor members within the other parties who challenge the authority of their party leaders.

He says he is not surprised to hear of a plot against President of the UPND as he stands out as one of the most established candidates in the 2016 general elections.

He has advised the UPND members and supporters not to allow the sponsored elements within the party to weaken and to divide them.

Zambians have been witnessing the death of several political leaders without realizing that they are victims of the primitive politics.
