Govt receives more kudos for releasing draft constitution

National Restoration party (NAREP) president Elias Chipimo Junior has commended government for releasing the draft constitution.

Mr. Chipimo has told QFM News in an interview that the move is a step   direction as this   shows that government has the will to fulfill its promise to giving Zambians a people driven constitution.

Mr. Chipimo says it now incumbent upon government to provide a clear road map to having instituting a referendum before 2016.

The NAREP leader has also indicated that the release of the draft constitution should not   just begin word of mouth, action and work should begin   right away.

Mr. Chipimo has  also appealed to stakeholders to continue sharing  ideas and  forge   ahead in sensitizing  people  on the  need   for the  country  to have  a  constitution that will stand  a taste of time.
