Presidents are born not made – Kambwili

Youth and Sport Minister Chishimba Kambwili says he will not waste time harboring Presidential ambitions when Presidents are born and not made.

Mr Kambwili says all the Presidents Zambia has had so far were destined to be by God.

Mr Kambwili says it will be unreasonable for anybody to start vying to be President when there is already a sitting President who is performing his functions very well.

He adds that when people start understanding that Presidents are born and not made, they will not preoccupy themselves with aspiring to be president.

Mr Kambwili further states that the opportunity presents itself at the right time to the person destined to be President.

The Sports Minister says he will not waste time aspiring to be President because he does not want to have a heart attack.

Meanwhile Mr Kambwili says he will not allow University of Zambia students to hold government to ransom over the Commonwealth Youth Centre which the students have been trying to takeover.

Mr Kambwili says the PF government is not a weak government and will not bow to the pressure of the students.

He has also warned students on bursary involved in the anarchy of trying to take over the centre that they risk losing their bursaries.
