The Zambian Voice has expressed concern that the country has started the independence week with very few activities pointing to the actual day.
Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali has told Qfm News the country is celebrating 50 years and one would expect that they will be a lot of activities to put the people into the mood of celebration before the big day itself.
Mr. Tayali notes that the people are left to wonder why government has not put in much to agitate the mood of jubilation among the Zambian people citing that the people are beginning to think somewhere, somehow things are not going right.
He adds that the people of Zambia are worried if the country is going to celebrate the day as they are supposed to as free people.
