Government has implored teachers in the country to ensure they impart Christian principles in pupils, saying it is the best foundation to lay for them in life.
Education, Science, vocational Training and Early Education Minister John Phiri, notes that if there is one ingredient that teachers are overlooking in the country is the issue of introducing pupils to God.
Dr. Phiri says this is why some pupils end up doing things that are morally wrong because they lack Christian principles in their lives.
Speaking in an interview, Dr. Phiri states that it is important that teachers begin to impart Christian morals in school going children in a bid to address all the immoralities pupils have been engaging in.
The Education Minister says teachers have a big responsibility to ensure that children in schools begin to fear God if they are to prosper in life.
