Zambia bound to see more diversified investments – Youming

Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Yang Youming says as Zambia continues to record development it is bound to see more diversified investments from China.

Mr. Youming says to this effect, China has already started diversifying its investments from mining to other sectors such as Agriculture.

He has also observed that the massive infrastructure development Zambia has embarked on is indicative of a strong indication of economic development.

Mr. Youming says this is because infrastructure development is the basis for any economy to take off.

He has told Qfm News in an interview that the country will therefore need to industrialize to add value to its locally produced products that are usually exported in raw form.

Mr. Youming says this means that Zambia needs to start setting up processing plants for the locally produced raw materials such as minerals.
