Mozambique High Commissioner to Zambia Jeronimo Chivavi has hailed the Zambian government for its commitment to promoting peace and unity which Zambian has enjoyed since independence.
Ambassador Chivavi says his country has continued to enjoy good relations with Zambia and that a lot has been achieved through this relationship.
He has told QFM News that Mozambique feels honored and humbled to be part of Zambia’s fifty years independence celebrations which will be commemorated on 24th October.
Ambassador Chivavi has also commended all freedom fighters, and Zambia’s former presidents for their contribution to upholding peace and unity in the country.
He notes that Zambia has continued to attract more investors and visitors because of the peace and friendly nature of the Zambian people.
Ambassador Chivavi has since encouraged the Zambian government to continue upholding peace in the country.
He adds that Zambia’s 50th independence anniversary is also a great sign of the country’s true picture of democracy.
