Govt urged to devise blueprint to fight graft

Former Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) President Reuben Lifuka has implored government to come up with a clear blueprint on fighting corruption.

Mr. Lifuka has told Qfm news in an interview that there is need for government to strengthen strategies aimed at curbing the abuse of public funds.

He says stakeholders are ready to collaborate with government in sharing ideas on how to seriously fight corruption.

Mr. Lifuka adds that Zambians should be mindful of the negative effects of corruption and resist the temptations of falling prey to corruption.

He notes that despite government showing commitment to fighting corruption, more still needs to be done safeguard public resources from being abused.

Mr. Lifuka has however stated that Zambia has the potential to win the fight against corruption if people can be more honest and say no to corruption.
