FAZ engage DUTCH coach as Janza’s assistant

The Football Association of Zambia has announced the appointment of Dutch man Nico Labohm as one of the Assistants to Coach Honour Janza.

Nico was introduced to the players and press at Heroes stadium during the team’s training session by FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya.

FAZ has come under pressure to engage an assistant to Coach Janza in the wake of the Chipolopolo’s loss to Cape Verde in the 2015 AFCON qualifier played last month.

Zambia lost by 2 goals to 1.

Meanwhile Zambia captain Christopher Katongo says the team is aware what result the Zambian public wants on Saturday against Niger.

Zambia head to Niger in search of their first Group F win in the 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers.

Honour Janza’s team has only one point from two games played and lie third in Group F behind second placed Mozambique and leaders Cape Verde who have two and six points respectively.

Niger are bottom of Group F with one point.

Katongo said Saturday was an important day for the team.
