Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) president Andrew Nthewewe has urged young people to be part of the fifty years jubilee celebrations because it explains where they are coming from.
Mr. Nthewewe has told Qfm news in an interview that although there are a number of challenges that hinder youths from achieve their goals, this should not be the reason to shun the jubilee celebrations.
Mr. Nthewewe says it will be embarrassing to hear or see youths shun the jubilee celebrations because doing so will no help solve their problems.
He notes that fifty years of jubilee is critical for the nation as it will guide every Zambian on where the country is going regardless of the past experiences.
Mr Nthewewe has since appealed to the young people to be proud of their country regardless of the challenges they are facing.
Mr Nthewewe adds that youths should also be positive about their future and realize that everything they want can be guaranteed through dialogue.
