Chamanga looking forward to Zambia return

China-based striker James Chamanga says he is has recovered from injury and is looking forward to reuniting with Zambia this week.

Chamanga is set to end his one year Zambia exile following his recall for the 2015 Africa Cup Group F doubleheader qualifier against Niger this coming week.

The striker has struggled with injury over the last fortnight but came through unscathed on Saturday in Liaoning Whowin’s 1-0 away defeat at Henan Jianye in the China Super League.

“I played 90 minutes so it’s all good now and I should be in by Tuesday,” Chamanga said.

Chamanga has not played for Zambia since October 15, 2013 when Zambia lost 2-0 to Brazil in a friendly played in Beijing.

He is one of twelve foreign-based players called up for this weekend Group F away game in Niamey on October 11 and the return leg four days later on October 15 in Ndola.
