Youths called upon not to give up on bursaries

Evangelical Youth Alliance International President Moses Lungu has appealed to young people not to give up on life for not being given bursaries or any education sponsorship.

Rev. Lungu has told Q fm in an interview that young people should understand that not all hope is lost because government has denied them bursaries but that they may be a way out if they exercise patience and look for other solutions as they may be other players that would come on board upon learning what the young people are going through.

He however notes that it is important that young people have come to realize the importance of education though sad that they are being too harsh by taking up their lives citing that if young people realize the importance of education, the country’s future looks better.

And United Party for National Development (UPND) Lubwa wards councilor Chisankama Mudenda says it has happened for the first time in the country for a student to herself for being denied a bursary.

Mr. Mudenda says the PF had promised the people of Zambia that they would increase the bursaries to young people but sad that instead the bursaries have reduced drastically citing that this is a danger to the nation.
