Bank of Zambia governor Michael Gondwe has charged that Education is the key to national development.
Dr. Gondwe says education provides social equality stating that that many people have and will climb the social ladder because of education.
He notes that from humble backgrounds through education many people have risen to manage big national and international institutions.
Dr. Gondwe further notes that education preserves by teaching the people where they have come from, where they are and where they could be in future.
He adds that it also promotes individual development, self confidence and awareness of one’s rights adding that it also enables people to develop products that are needed in society.
