The Zambia Police Service has warned political parties against violating the electoral code of conduct in tomorrow’s by-elections.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga Chanda has told Qfm news in a statement that there is need for stakeholders to abide to the electoral rules.
Ms Chanda says Police are geared to provide security and protect all electorates by ensuring that they exercise their right to vote peacefully.
She says enough manpower has been deployed on the ground in all the constituencies were the by-elections are taking place.
Ms. Chanda has also warned those planning to destroy Electoral Commission of Zambia equipment that it is an offence to do so.
