Veep directs Commerce Minister to institute an import ban on edible oils

Vice president Inonge Wina has directed Commerce Minister Margret Mwanakatwe to institute an import ban on edible oils in Zambia.

Ms. Wina says this is because the country already has companies which are able to produce edible oils.

She has since stated that there should not be unfair trade between local producers and foreign based companies.
