ECZ extends voting at some polling stations in Sesheke

Voting at polling stations where electorates were interrupted by heavy rains in Sesheke has been extended for another 35 minutes.

Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) spokesperson Margaret Chimanse says electorates at Libala and Nakatindi polling stations will continue voting beyond the prescribed closing time of 18:00hrs.

Ms. Chimanse has told Q-News that this is meant to compensate the lost time and give the inconvenienced electorates an opportunity to cast their vote.
