Lungu meets Ramaphosa over DRC elections

President Edgar Lungu has met his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa at Dube House, the official residence of the President in  Durban.

Presidents Lungu and Ramaphosa met  for breakfast between 07:30hrs and 09:30hrs.

President Lungu, in his capacity, as the SADC chair of the organ on Politics, Defense and Security Cooperation met President Ramaphosa over the DRC elections and related developments.

President Lungu is accompanied by Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Malanji, State House spokesperson Amos Chanda and Zambia’s High Commissioner in South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba.

President Ramaphosa had his Minister of International Relations and Lindiwe Sisula, Minister of Defense and Military Veterans Mapisa Nqukula and the Minister of State Security Letsati Duba in the meeting.
