The Central Statistical Office (CSO) has declared itself ready to conduct the 2020 national population census.
CSO Acting Director Goodson Sinyenga says the administrator and various governance structures for the steering committee to implement the 2020 census have since been established.
Mr. Sinyenga says steering committee will be chaired by Secretary to the Cabinet Rowland Msiska.
He has disclosed that the 2020 census office has also been established and that government has already appointed the manager.
Mr. Sinyenga states that the establishment of the census office is an indication that preparations for 2020 national census are advancing.
