Zambians perish in SA accident

Emmanuel-Mwamba-12Two Zambian Nationals have died in a fatal road traffic accident in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The two identified as Jerome Mulenga aged 33,holder of passport number ZN226638 and Musonda Mwanza holder of passport number ZN434215 died on the spot when the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and overturned several times.

According to information made available to the Zambian Mission in Pretoria, the accident happened at the left turn off ramp before the right turn to Lanseria as the duo were coming from their home in Randburg.

Police have established that the car lost control and overturned several times resulting in the vehicle being extensively damaged killing the duo on the spot.

The bodies of the deceased who were business executives based in South Africa have since been deposited at the Roodport Police Station mortuary in Johannesburg awaiting further investigations.

And Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba is saddened by the development and has wished the bereaved families God’s comfort during this difficult moment.
