Dead body dumped in Ngwerere stream

An unidentified dead body of a suspected male has been discovered in Ngwerere stream in Lusaka’s Chaisa area.

The body was discovered early this morning around 05hrs by Chaisa residents.

Residents had suspected that it is one of the ritual murder cases before the police picked up the body.

And Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo says the body parts of the dead body were intact and that police suspect it is a food poisoning case.

It is believed that the man in his late 20s was murdered and later dumped into the stream.
