The PF Government is constructing a General Hospital in Chinsali District which will serve all districts of Muchinga province.

Chinsali area Member of Parliament Kalalwe Mukosa disclosed to journalists at the PF Interactive Forum today in Lusaka that the construction of the hospital which has already taken shape and whose cost is estimated around K90 Million will bring quality health services nearer to the people.

Mr. Mukosa says once the general hospital is completed, the people of Chinsali will be helped a lot as they will no longer be referred to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka, Chilonga Mission Hospital or Kasama General Hospital but will instead access the health services within the district and on time.

He has also disclosed that about 20 staff houses are also being constructed to serve the health personnel at this coming hospital.

Mr. Mukosa has further said that the hospital will also serve people outside Chinsali district.

He states that the General Hospital is not just for the people of Chinsali but will also serve residents from districts like Chama, Mafinga, Nakonde, Mpika, Isoka and basically all the districts of Muchinga province.

He adds that the hospital comes at such a time when the PF Government strives in ensuring that citizens have access to quick and quality health services.

Meanwhile, the Chinsali Member of Parliament has urged young people across the country not to be used as tools of political violence as the nation commemorates Youth Day on 12th March, 2018.

He says it is also worrying that some youths are used by politicians to champion their hidden agendas saying they should desist from such vices.

He has also urged young people to desist from wearing military regalia as this is against the law.
