TPAZ unearths a scam where some people have forged documents to export mukula logs

The Timber Producers Association of Zambia (TPAZ) has unerthened a scam where some people are forging documents to export mukula logs in the name of Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO).

TPAZ Vice President Charles Masange also discloses that he took a fact finding mission in china where he discovered that one container of mukula, trades at k1 million as opposed to the sale by ZAFFICCO at k150, 000.

Mr. Masange has revealed that in china Zambian timber is coasting 4, 126 dollars per ton.

He says it is for this reason that it is important for President Edgar Lungu to do a forensic on how the process is been done because some people papers have been forged bearing ZAFFICO documents.
