FFTUZ calls on investigative wings to investigate computing system at the ministry of finance

The Federation of Free Trade Unions of Zambia (FFTUZ) has called on investigative wings to take keen interest in the issue of the collapse of the central computing system at the ministry of finance.

Union President Chingati Msiska says there is need to investigate the matter as this could be the work of saboteurs.

He tells Q-News that matter must be investigated thoroughly because the breaking down of the system will negatively affect the operations of the ministry.

And Mr. Msiska has questioned why officers at the Ministry of Finance did not back up the data.

He says it’s unacceptable in this day and age to have such a scenario where data system can breakdown without having a backup in place.
