The Zambia National Union Of Teachers (ZNUT) has predicted that there will be low pass rate of pupils sitting for this year’s examinations.

Union Public Relations Manager Joe kasaka says this is because the content they were supposed to cover will not be covered due to the outbreak of cholera on the school calendar which resulted in some schools closed.

Mr. Kasaka has since appealed to teachers to double their efforts to ensure that they catch up on the lost time.

He has since advised some schools that are still closed to also utilize the holidays to ensure that pupils perform well.
