Mulemwa urges MPs to work with govt

Zambian DNA spokesperson Spuki Mulemwa has encouraged all members of parliament to work with the government of the day.

Mr. Mulemwa notes that some members of parliament especially those from the opposition have chosen to work in isolation by not interacting with the government.

He says it is through working closely with the government that members of parliament will be able to make known the challenges facing people in their constituencies to the government.

Mr. Mulemwa says it is unfortunate to see opposition members of parliament not turning up to receive the president and tell him the challenges the people are facing when he visits their constituencies.

He states that the people voted for them to go and represent them, and not make them miss out on developmental programmes because of not telling the government the problems people face.
