Minister for Lands and Natural Resource Jean Kapata says Lusaka has run out of land.

The Lands Minister says she has since directed the Lusaka City Council to stop giving land to any investor or individual as there is no land left in Lusaka.

Ms Kapata says there are over 13, 000 offer letters and people have not gone back to the ministry to pay for the same offers.

She has threatened that her ministry will re-advertise for the same plots if the people with offer letters do not go back to the ministry to pay.

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resource said this in Lusaka when she featured on the PF Interactive Forum.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Lands and Natural Resource says the Land Policy is almost complete and it will be tabled before cabinet before the end of the year for approval before it is taken to parliament.

Ms Kapata says once completed, the policy will help in addressing some of the challenges that surround land administration.
