Sobashima describes Zambia’s political atmosphere as conducive

Japanese Ambassador to Zambia Hidnenobu Sobashima has described Zambia’s political atmosphere as conducive for trade and investment.

Mr Sobashima tells Q-TV News in an interview that his country is therefore committed to enhance industrial development in Zambia.

He says Japan is also working with the Zambian government to boost the agriculture sector by enhancing agricultural technology.

Mr Sobashima adds that Zambia and Japan have since initiated negotiations on investment agreements to enhance the already existing agreements between the two countries.

He has since reiterated his country’s commitment to helping Zambia achieve some objectives of a green economy through the Agriculture sector.
