Govt cautions Media houses

KAMPAMBA-MULENGAInformation and Broadcasting Services Minister Kampamba Mulenga has advised the media to be cautious in their reporting during the 90-days period of the threatened state of emergency.

Mr Mulenga has told Q-news that the media ought to be professional in the manner they disseminate information.

She says it is important that media houses both public and private to uphold accuracy in their reporting.

She states that it is the duty of media institutions to give the Zambian people balanced information to enable them make informed decisions.

Ms. Mulenga has also called on the media to help government explain Article 31 by informing people that no freedom has been taken away from anyone as some stakeholders are claiming.
