Zambian politics dominated by political immorality – Zimba

Political Scientist Chris Zimba says the continued standoff between the ruling PF and opposition UPND will one day land the country into serious predicaments.

And Mr. Zimba has challenged the ruling Patriotic Front to apologize to the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) and to the deceased family over what happened at Memorial Park recently.

Mr. Zimba says what happened last weekend at cemetery during the burial of a UPND member is a clear indication that political parties are becoming like mafia entities.

He says what the country is witnessing in Zambian political parties especially between UPND and PF  is a manifestation of political mafia where it is total criminality, enmity and hatred where both political parties are scheming to show off political power through violence.

Mr. Zimba says politics in Zambia have been now dominated by political immorality where good norms and political values have been discarded for different reasons.
