ZSPA comes to the defense of HH

The Zambia Society for Public Administration has come to the defence of opposition UPND President Hakainde Hichilema with regards the incident in which he is alleged to have obstructed President Edgar Lungu’s motorcade in Mongu on Saturday.

Mr. Hichilema has come under attack for failing to give way to President Lungu’s motorcade enroute to the Kuomboka traditional ceremony.

But Society President Kelvin Esiasa says the Police and not Mr Hichilema should be blamed for failing to advise the president correctly.

Mr. Esiasa says it is unnecessary for the Zambia Police to raid Mr. Hichilema’s house when they are the ones to blame for the whole fracas.

He says if the Police had done their job thoroughly what happened in Mongu could have been avoided.
