Police in Choma have arrested four suspects who have been terrorizing the residents and are linked to the current spate of robberies in the district.

Southern Province Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso says workers from lodges have been targets of attacks by the suspects.

Mr. Kapeso has named the suspects as Kelvin  Malambo, 22, Brian Silemu, 25, Joseph Mulenga, 19, and Given Santana, 17, all of Zambia Compound in Choma District.

He says the four suspects were picked yesterday following a tip off from members of the public.

Mr Kapeso says the quartet has been terrorizing people and grabbing their items between 19:00hrs and 22:00hrs, especially workers from lodges.

And in another development, the Southern Province Police Chief has disclosed that Sinazeze police have arrested the fifth person linked to the murders reported in the area.
