Lusaka Lawyer asks MPs not to pass Bill to review LAZ Act

A Lusaka Lawyer has appealed to Members of Parliament not to pass the Bill that seeks to review the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) Act.

Moono Mapani says the hurry in reviewing the LAZ Act is suspicious.

Mr. Mapani has told journalists in Lusaka that in as much as Kasama Central Member of Parliament Kelvin Sampa is within his rights to move the motion to review the LAZ ACT; the question that has left every lawyer wondering is if it is done in good faith.

He feels the government has no good intentions when it comes to this matter given the fact that the PF leadership launched a political war against the Law Association of Zambia.
