Kabanda urges constituency to be patriotic

Maxwell KabandaSerenje Member of Parliament Maxwell Kabanda has urged people in his constituency to heed to President Edgar Lungu’s rallying call for patriotism.

Mr. Kabanda is concerned that the continued smuggling of the Mukula tree and manganese in his Constituency is a sign of lack of patriotism by the people.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Kabanda says it’s saddening that Zambians are actually the ones aiding foreigners in engaging in such illegalities that rob the Country of its natural resources.

Mr. Kabanda states that it’s high time the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources also improved upon policies for managing forests in Zambia.
