Upswing in global economy has helped Zambian economy – Nkhoma

Economist Noel Nkhoma has observed that the upswing in the global economy has helped the Zambian economy stabilize.

Mr. Nkhoma has also attributed the improvement in the economy to the economic recovery programme government has put in place coupled with political will.

He has since advised government to stick to the economic recovery programme in order to bring stability to the economy.

Mr Nkhoma has further encouraged government to continue maintaining fiscal discipline and allocate resources where they are going to create more jobs, especially in the Agriculture, manufacturing among other sectors.

He states that now that the economy is showing signs of improvement, it is important for government to create sufficient jobs in the country.
