President Lungu’s visit to Israel still yielding positive results – Banda

Tourism and Arts Minister Charles Banda says President Edgar Lungu’s visit to Israel has continued to yield positive results in the tourism sector.

He made the observation when the visiting President of Galilee International Management Institute Dr. Joseph Shevel paid a courtesy call on him today.

Charles BandaMr. Banda says his ministry is ready to partner with the Galilee International Management Institute.

He has observed that in order to grow the tourism sector, there is need to prioritize training of staff in the sector.

He says this is because the more tourists the country receives, the more the revenue will be collected and thus the need to give this sector a priority.

Mr Banda adds that the ministry is ready to send a delegation for the training in May once all the logistics are put in place.

And Dr. Shevel says it is highly possible to grow the tourism sector if people are equipped with the knowhow of doing things.
