Lusaka Dynamos will host a four club pre-season tournament next week, at National Heroes Stadium.

Dynamos chief executive officer Simataa Simataa said the four-club event will be played over three days in Lusaka.

The round-robin tournament has attracted Lusaka-based team’s Green Buffaloes, Napsa Stars and Red Arrows including hosts Dynamos.

“This tournament is very important, because all participating clubs will have an opportunity to gauge themselves against some of their opponents once the league starts,” Simataa said.

“It will provide an opportunity for the coaches to see some strengths and weakness of their respective teams before the league commences.”

Dynamos will face Buffaloes in a lunchtime kick-off on March 28 and Napsa will play Arrows in the late match.

On Wednesday, Dynamos play Napsa while Arrows engage Buffaloes.

The tournament will wrap-up on March 30 with Buffaloes against Napsa and Dynamos closing the doubleheader with a clash against Arrows.

Meanwhile, the four-time tournament will come a week before the 2017 Super League season kicks off after Saturday’s Charity Shield semi-finals that will be played at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

The Charity Shield semis will see Nkana will face Super League champions Zanaco while defending Charity Shield champions Power Dynamos will clash against Zesco United.
