Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has encouraged the government to start preparing for the 2017 – 2018 farming season to avoid the gaffe that was witnessed during this farming season.
Mr. Sinkamba says it is clear that there were so many errors more especially in the implementation of the e – voucher system which up to now some farmers have not yet received their inputs.
Mr. Sinkamba states that there is enough time for the government to ensure that they adequately prepare for the coming farming season after witnessing so many mistakes in the implementation of the rolled out FISP.
He says if government attaches great importance to the agriculture sector as it claims, this is the correct time to start preparing for the 2017 – 2018 farming season.
