Flashing out of moral decay should start with govt – CCZ

The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) is happy with President Edgar Lungu’s acknowledgement of the extent to which moral decay has infiltrated the Zambian society.

CCZ General Secretary Suzanne Matale says it is good that President Lungu has taken note of an issue her organization has been raising for a long time now.

Suzanne MataleIn an interview with QTV News, Reverend Matale says in keeping with the observation by the Head of State, the CCZ expects government to come up with policies meant to instill good morals in the Zambian society.

Reverend Matale says the CCZ hopes that President Lungu will equally uproot the moral decay that is allegedly in government.

She states that uprooting moral decay must start from the top most going down to the lower organs.

Reverend Matale states that this means that getting rid of moral decay in government should start with State House before it could extend to all other government institutions.
