ZESCO United Football Club have been pitted against reigning Nigerian Champions Enugu Rangers in the playoff round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
This was during draws conducted at the CAF headquarters in the Egyptian capital Cairo today.
The Nigerian champions dropped out of the CAF Champions league after losing 5-3 on aggregate to Egyptian giants ZAMALEK.
ZESCO on the other hand progressed to the pre-group stage of the second tier of the CAF club competition after seeing off stubborn Burundian side Le Messager Ngozi via a 4-2 aggregate score line.
The first leg of the playoff games will be played during the weekend of April 7 to 9.
