Convention preps are on course – Mumba

Opposition MMD faction leader Nevers Mumba says his party’s preparations for this month’s national convention are on course.

Dr. Mumba says his party is thus happy that the Court case which is holding the convention from taking place is coming up very well.

In an interview with QTV News Dr. Mumba states that his party would like to give the Courts an opportunity to work through this matter diligently.

Dr. Mumba says the desire is to see order coming back to the former ruling party in order to enable i once again contribute to the wellbeing of Zambia’s democratic values and virtues.

He notes that this means that once the matter before the Courts has been concluded his party will announce how it will proceed with the scheduled convention.
