Rick Ross Raps On “Apple Of My Eye”: I Told Meek I Wouldn’t Trust Nicki

(AllHipHop News) Rick Ross’ new album Rather You Than Me includes the Miami native revealing a supposed private conversation he had with his MMG protégé Meek Mill.

The track “Apple Of My Eye” features Ross talking about the Dreamchaser leader’s relationship with Nicki Minaj.

“I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki. Instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance,” rapped Ross.

The lyrics seem to be connected to Meek’s feud with Drake.

Rumors have suggested Nicki was somehow responsible for the conflict between the two “R.I.C.O.” collaborators.

Nicki’s rival, Remy Ma, included that speculation on her scathing diss record “ShETHER.”

“We all know it was a beef that you started,” spit Rem.

A week ago, Meek actually posted an Instagram picture with Ross which included the Philadelphia representative referencing his boss’ song “Apple Of My Eye.”

“Rozay been told me don’t trust you,” posted Meek.
