The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) says it has put in place measures to ensure safety for all road users during the Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations being hosted in Lusaka and Ndola.

RTSA Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga says the agency will ensure road users follow all traffic rules and regulations during the tournament and beyond.

Mr. Mubanga says as Zambia hosts this important tournament, he is urging all road users to follow traffic rules.

He says those travelling out of town should ensure their vehicles are roadworthy and that they are not overloaded.

He states that Football fans should ensure they don’t drink and drive.

Mr. Mubanga says RTSA officers in collaboration with the Zambia Police have been deployed across all major roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic to and from the stadia.

Zambia is hosting the Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament from February 26 to March 12 in Lusaka and Ndola.
