National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) is pleased with the levels of compliance by companies in remitting employees contributions.

NAPSA Head of Corporate Affairs Cephas Sinyangwe has told QTV Business News that unlike in the past, companies have seen the benefits of helping their employees by remitting their monthly contributions to the authority.

He says the compliance levels have increased to as high as 80 percent, and that the authority is confident that this will improve in the months to come because it is law for employers to remit employee contributions.

Mr. Sinyangwe has however, encouraged the people to regularly check their contributions and track how their employers have been remitting their contributions to avoid complications when they retire and want to claim their money.

He says the authority has introduced various tools to enhance and improve service delivery such as the introduction of the short code, the e-NAPSA service, NAPSA Mobile Application among others.
