Justice Minister Given Lubinda says government is happy so far with the submissions received on constitution provisions that need to be changed.

Given Lubinda

Mr. Lubinda says the majority of institutions his ministry wrote to have made submissions to the process.

He says this process is important for the country especially with the challenges in interpreting the constitution.

Mr. Lubinda has since encouraged institutions that have not yet made submissions to do so, stressing that it is important that institutions point out articles that they feel have lacunas or are difficult to interpret.

The Justice Minister states that it is the hope of everyone that this will be the last constitution refinement process the country is having and will not have any constitution review in the next five years.
