Critically analyze advice on ICC withdrawal, Lungu advised

Governance Activist Leslie Chikuse has advised President Edgar Lungu to critically analyze the advice from various stakeholders on whether or not the country should withdraw from the International Criminal Court.

Mr. Chikuse says various stakeholders have come out and spoken out on the issue and that it is important that every opinion is scrutinized and respected.

He says at the end of the day, the final decision should be in the interest of the majority Zambians who have equally brought out their feelings on the issue.

Mr. Chikuse says going against the advice of the Zambian people on the issue will be doing so at government’s own risk.

He has however, commended the President for not rushing to make a decision, but giving Zambians the chance to bring out their opinions.
