Lungu in North Western Province

Edgar FistPresident Edgar Lungu has maintained that there is only one elected president in Zambia.

The Head of State said this in Solwezi District when he addressed his supporters who went to receive him after he landed in Solwezi.

President Lungu has emphasized that he is not bothered by anything because his focus is to develop Zambia.

He says North Western Province is among the three least developed provinces in Zambia and that is why he wants to ensure that the province also receives a fare share of development.

He adds that his door remains open to those who are willing to work with him in developing the nation.

President Lungu states that people who are not willing to transform Zambia should pave way for those who are hungry for development.

The Head of State also says the Solwezi – Chingola road is key in delivery of economic services to the region and that it is a priority to him.

President Lungu is in North Western Province on a two day working visit.

The President is in the Province to inspect works on the Solwezi – Chingola Road, Mwinilunga – Jimbe Road and a ZESCO Sub -Station in Mwinilunga District among other developmental projects.
